1. Kill on sight / Random Deathmatch (KOS / RDM)
Killing players for no reason or out of RP.
In order to kill a player during RP you must have a reason, you also must give at least 3 warnings to the player and you have to give the player time to comply (about 3 seconds in between warnings).
After being warned 3 times you are allowed to shoot the person who is warning you.
Attempting to kill someone using a vehicle.

Punishments:
1st offense : 12h ban
2nd offense : 3d ban


2. FailRP / FearRP / NLR
Doing something you wouldnt be able to do in real life during a RP situation.
Doing something that would put your life in danger.
Returning to a situation or place of death within 3 minutes after death.

You must wait 1 minute after teleporting before joining an RP situation, also you must wait for the other player 1 minute if they teleported in or logged on.
You must be in the same group with someone to assist them with RP.
After 3 minutes of no activity, the RP situation is considered over.

Examples:
Using commands such as vault, garage, tpa or home during an RP situation.
Trying to fight back alone when there is a full group of police officers with guns pointing at you.

Punishments:
1st offense : warning
2nd offense : 12h ban


3. Raiding / Griefing
Destroying or damaging another player's property or vehicle not in roleplay.
Police are allowed to raid illegal areas of buildings if approved with valid proof.
You are not allowed to destroy or salvage deeds.

Punishments:
Griefing: 12h ban
Raiding: 14d ban


4. Freebuild
Building in an area you do not own.
You can not place anything on other players houses, police and staff may put appropriate warnings.

You can place up to 7 barricades on a vehicle.
You are allowed to freebuild inside of the KOS zone.

Punishments:
1st offense : 1h ban
2nd offense : 6h ban


5. Scamming
Taking another player's belongings unfairly during a trade.
After trading with someone you can not rob them until 1 minute has passed.

Punishments:
1st offense : 12h ban
2nd offense : 2d ban


6. Impersonation
Using another player’s identity.
Pretending to be a police officer.
Pretending to be a staff member.

Punishments:
1st offense : 1h ban
2nd offense : 12h ban


7. Racism / Discrimination / Extreme toxicity
No racism or discrimination of any kind.
Calling people slurs is not allowed.
Do not be extremely toxic to other players, especially if the player gets easily offended.
Please note that this is Unturned and there will always be toxicity no matter what.

Punishments:
1st offense : 1d ban
2nd offense : 3d ban


8. Glitching
Purposefully using glitches.
If there is a glitch please report it in a ticket.
Do not attempt to lag the server.

Some common glitches are:
Shooting through walls,
Glitching through walls/doors,
Abusing a glitch for money

Punishments (Managment may decide on a larger ban time depending on the offense):
Small glitch (Example: shooting someone who is showing through a wall)
1st offense : Warning or 1h ban
2nd offense : 6h ban

Other glitch (example: glitching through someones walls)
1st offense : 5d ban
2nd offense : 7d ban


9. Spam / MicSpam
Spamming chat.
Spamming links.
Screaming through mic.
Playing loud music/loud sounds.
Having a radio above 50% volume.
Leaving on a radio after leaving.
Constantly using items to create loud sounds such as firing 100 bullets for no reason at all.

Punishments:
1st offense : 3h ban
2nd offense 1d ban


10. Common Sense
Please use your common sense. Don't cop bait, rob bait or staff bait.


Bank Robbery / Hostage Rules

Criminals
Max amount of criminals is 6.
All criminals must be inside the building when you call the police (say in chat)
You must stay inside the bank until the Police arrive and get into position.
You can not ask for more than $25k per hostage, $50k is the max limit.
When the police give what you ask for you must free the hostage.
You can only take a hostage every 30 minutes.
If you die you can not return to the scene for 10 minutes.
There must be at least 2 Police on-duty in order to take a hostage or do a bank robbery.
You can not put the money into the ATM until after the situation.
You are not allowed to freebuild.

Law Enforcement
You must go to the hostage situation if you are on-duty.
Tell the criminals that you are coming.
You must value the life of the hostage.
You must try to get what the criminals are asking for, you are allowed to try to get them to ask for less.
Once the hostage is free tell the criminals to put thier hands up (10 minute arrest if they listen).
If they do not listen then you are allowed to open fire.
If you successfully kill the criminals then you can confiscate thier weapons and take back anything you gave.
The police are allowed to use ONE flashbang and ONE smoke.
You are not allowed to freebuild.


KOS Zone rules

The KOS Zone is the area outlined in RED. This includes Bandit Camp, Westwood Military Base, Oil Rig and Scorpion 7.
The water that is covered in RED on the map is still part of the KOS Zone.

You are allowed to kill anyone in the zone.
You are allowed to build in the zone.

You are NOT allowed to shoot at people from outside of the zone, or shoot at people who are outside of the KOS Zone.
You are NOT allowed to teleport in or out of the zone.
Bedrolls are banned in the KOS Zone, placing one will result in a ban.
You can not camp NPCs for more than 10 minutes.


How to report a rulebreaker
First of all, please use some sort of recording/clip software while playing so you can get video proof of rulebreakers.
I personally use GeForce Experience but there are other popular ones that work well also.
Our staff team is NOT above the rules, if a staff member is breaking rules please report it.
